Byron McCaughey is a psychologist whose approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), combining a calm, engaged style with practical, goal-focused strategies. He works primarily with men aged 25–45 who are navigating anxiety, work-related stress, low mood, burnout, and major life transitions. Byron works collaboratively with clients and focuses on building the tools, skills, and confidence needed to navigate change with greater clarity, resilience, and self-direction.
What to expect in session:
Sessions are structured, collaborative, and practical — focused on understanding what’s getting in the way, developing effective tools to work with difficult thoughts and emotions, and supporting values-aligned action between sessions.
